These terms apply when you use internsforexac.ca and the practice questions, study notes and guides on it (together, "the site"). "We" means Interns for ExAC. By creating an account, paying for access or using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The terms at a glance
- Interns for ExAC is an unofficial study tool. It is not the exam and has no link to the people who set it.
- Full access is one payment of $300 CAD. There is no subscription.
- Access is for life, for one person.
- All sales are final. Try the free questions first.
- We do not promise that you will pass.

1. An unofficial study tool
Interns for ExAC is independent. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Committee for the Examination for Architects in Canada (ExAC), the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB), or any provincial or territorial licensing authority. Our questions are original. They are written to resemble the format and subject areas of the exam and do not reproduce exam content.
2. Your account
Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your sign-in secure. An account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Price and payment
- Free access. The sample questions and the guides cost nothing and need no account.
- Full access. $300 in Canadian dollars for all four ExAC sections. There is no processing fee. Any tax that applies is added at checkout.
- Group access. $700 in Canadian dollars for four seats, plus any tax that applies. Each seat is full access for one person on their own account. To arrange it, email support@internsforexac.ca.
- One payment. Access is bought once. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
- Stripe. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Stripe's own terms apply to the payment.
- Price changes. We may change our prices. A change never affects access you have already paid for.
4. Lifetime access
Unless we say otherwise when you buy, your payment gives you access that does not expire. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the site. If we ever plan to close it, we will give reasonable notice by email to the address on your account.
5. No refunds
The full question bank opens the moment your payment goes through, so all sales are final. That is the reason the sample questions are free. Please try them before you buy.
6. Fair use
Your access is for your own study. You may not:
- share your sign-in, or resell, sublicense or transfer your access;
- copy, scrape, reproduce, republish or redistribute any part of the site, including the questions, explanations and notes.
If an account is misused, we may suspend or close it without a refund.
7. Who owns the content
The questions, explanations, study notes, guides, text and design on the site belong to Interns for ExAC and are protected by copyright. While you have access, you have a personal, non-transferable licence to use them to prepare for your own exam.
8. What we do not promise
The site is a study aid, provided as it is. We work to keep the content accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is free of mistakes, that it matches what will appear on any exam, or that using it will lead to a pass. For anything that affects your registration or your practice, rely on the official sources: the ExAC Committee, your licensing authority, and the current codes and references.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Interns for ExAC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date at the top, and it applies from that date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
